Wolf River Greenway

January 25, 2017

Crews are working on the Mud Island end of the Wolf River Greenway! This work is the result of nearly 15 years of planning and advocacy by the Wolf River Conservancy.  The 36 mile trail is planned to extend thru Shelby Farms to Germantown and Collierville Tennessee. Considering the Big River Crossing and existing riverfront trails, eventually you’ll be able to travel from East Shelby County to Arkansas needing zero tanks of gas! However, a hearty snack defiintely may be needed. Check out the links for more info about the Wolf River Greenway below. Also peep the preview of the new views of the Mississippi River and Wolf River that will be available once the project is complete.
