Rollin’ on the River

Surely there is no better way to experience the Mississippi River than by riverboat. It was from the balconies of these grand vessels that a young Mark Twain set about documenting the lives and landscapes that would come to define a nascent America to the rest of the world. For more than 200 years the Lower Mississippi has served as a place of recreation, refreshment, and leisure for visitors from around the world.

Five boats make more than 35 trips a year, delivering thousands of passengers to Beale Street Landing. From here they disembark and stay at Memphis’ hotels and entertain themselves at Memphis’ most interesting hotspots. Whether it’s a quick, 90-minute tour or a six-night vacation, your journey begins on the Memphis Riverfront.
