Riverfront Development Corporation (RDC) and Memphis Light, Gas & Water (MLGW) encourage movie night attendees to dress in Star Wars regalia for Twilight Tuesday’s 2016 series finale on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. The newest installment of the saga, Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens (PG-13, 135 min.), will be shown for free on a 24 foot screen on Beale Street Landing’s grass roof beginning at 8:30 pm. Shelby County School’s 88.5 FM DJs will open the night with music beginning at 7:00 pm.

Whether it’s a night out with friends, a child’s birthday or quality time with a loved one, the Mighty Mississippi’s majesty will help make it a time to remember. Before the movie stop by Riverfront Bar & Grill for a cocktail or call in a to-go order to eat during the movie (901.524.0817). The restaurant will close at 9:00 pm; however, food trucks will be nearby as well. Also, Beale Street Landing’s Island Play will be available for children to splash around in the water features, glide down the slide and explore Big John the catfish until 8:00 pm.

RDC and MLGW appreciate everyone who has attended and/or spread the word about this year’s edition of the Twilight Tuesday free outdoor movie series. In the event of a cancellation due to weather or otherwise, announcements will be posted to Memphis Riverfront social media channels as soon as possible. No coolers, picnic baskets, or pets are allowed.
