The Mississippi River has been flowing west of our city for centuries, carving a beautifully sculpted riverfront used for trade, commerce and recreation. With a new voice as the Memphis Riverfront, we want to bring even more attention to the riverfront and get more people down to the river!

Previously, there was not a standard avenue to tell the community and visitors about events happening on the riverfront. The Riverfront Development Corporation brings you the Memphis Riverfront as a unified group of attractions including Mud Island, Beale Street Landing and a number of parks downtown.

Digitally, the goal of Memphisriverfront.com and being active on all social media outlets is so that we can bring the countless river experiences directly to you every day. We will have a series of blog posts: River Fact, River Fitness, River Food and River Folk to really show you what people are doing and how they are utilizing their riverfront.

We hope you will join us on our journey of making the Memphis Riverfront an even better attraction for our city!
