Recent Grammy winner for Album of the Year, Beck, will play at Mud Island Amphitheater May 16th at 8:00 pm.

Many may know Beck for his notably popular track “Loser,” which hit the music scene with the debut of his 1994 album Mellow Gold. Beck released several other albums throughout the ’90s including Odelay in ’96, Mutations in ’98, Midnite Vultures in ’99 and in the 2000’s released Sea Change in ’02, Guero in ’05, The Information in ’06, and Modern Guilt in ’08.

Six years later Beck released, Morning Phase, which won him a Grammy for Album of the Year. With soothing songs like “Heart is A Drum” and well, all 13 songs on the album, this record is significantly different from his earlier albums, but somewhat in line with Sea Change in ’02.
